Apologies, the picture and title of this one may give the impression of something a little deeper and maybe a little more interesting, but I suppose this post is more of a disclaimer, where I tell you that you may know me, I may talk about you, and you might find what I say hard to deal with. If this is the case, drop a comment and we can discuss, maybe I got it wrong.
I think the biggest issue I face with this blog is the anonymity of it. As I have told people in the past that I have a blog, albeit very different to today, they are aware this exists. Also, my user name may be known by some as me and can be linked to the site.
I'm hoping they have forgotten or too uninterested to care.
Knowing who I am could lead to situations where I may have written about an interaction with a person who in turn knows it is me, and depending on the subject or how the person is framed this could lead to situations I have created myself. I will not mention anybody by name as a default, but the person may figure out it is them. If this is the case, then correct me if my version of events differs from your own.
I believe in freedom of speech and intend to use it. It feels as if today as if people's voices or thoughts are suppressed. I will try not to upset anyone, but in 2026 this is proving very difficult as people are so easily offended (what is that about?). For now, I will continue to use this domain name and don't intend to change it; if I do and you receive emails, then you will be made aware of the change.
